Observe

Agents ingest real-time telemetry from PMUs, SCADA systems, and market data feeds. IEEE C37.118 synchrophasors, OPC-UA subscriptions, IEC 61850 GOOSE messages, and ENTSO-E transparency data flow through Apache Kafka into a unified measurement stream.

Decide

Detection agents analyse grid state every 60 seconds. Fault detection flags voltage sags and frequency deviations. Congestion detection runs DC power flow and calculates redispatch recommendations. Load forecasting predicts demand across four horizons using LightGBM ensemble models.

Act

Every decision is published with full reasoning, confidence scores, and estimated impact in MW. In advisory mode, operators review and approve. In supervised mode, agents execute with human override. Every action is logged to an append-only audit trail for EU AI Act Article 12 compliance.

Congestion Management

Redispatch optimization

N-1 security assessment with DC power flow analysis. Generates redispatch recommendations with cost estimates in EUR/MWh using BNetzA reference rates.

Load Forecasting

MAPE below 3%

LightGBM ensemble with Optuna hyperparameter tuning. Quantile regression provides confidence intervals at 10th, 50th, and 90th percentiles across four forecast horizons.

IEC 61970 Common Information Model topology imported into a Neo4j graph database. Breaker state tracking, connectivity analysis, and island detection in real time.
